1 Minimal Sedation
For patients with dental anxiety. Patients are awake and can respond to the dentist’s directions during their treatment.
2 Moderate Sedation
For patients with more complex dental problems. Patients are relaxed, may slur words, and will most likely not remember the procedure.
3 IV Sedation
Reserved for patients with a severe aversion to dental procedures. Patients are put on the edge of consciousness but can still be awakened and will rarely remember anything.
